January 14, 2018 - Kellick Misses Transfer Spot by One Position In Night Three of WWS
Wednesday night found Tanner Kellick back in action at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona) for round three of the Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout. In a field of 45 cars, Kellick logged an 8th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. After having a scheduled off day on Thursday night, Tanner was one of 46 Super Late Models signed in Friday for another $5,000-to-win A-Main. Holding his spot in his 8-lap heat race, Kellick posted a 5th place finish sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the Top 4 into the feature, Tanner logged a 6th place outing ending his night early.

On Saturday night for the fifth round of the six-day tour, Kellick moved up four spots in his heat race to place 6th. Battling for a 4th place finish or better in his B-Main to make the A-Main, Tanner fell short of a transfer position with a 10th place finish.

Wrapping up the 12th annual Wild West Shootout on Sunday, Kellick recorded a 9th place finish in his heat giving him one final shot at the $13,000-to-win finale with a B-Main appearance. Needing to place in the Top 4, Tanner came up four spots short with a 4th place finish.

January 7, 2018 - Tanner Kellick Begins 2018 Season at Wild West Shootout
On Saturday night Tanner Kellick kicked off the 2018 season at FK ROD Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona) for the 12th annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout. Drawing 50 Super Late Models for the first round of the six-race tour, Kellick followed up the second fastest time in his qualifying group with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Garrett Alberson. Rolling off 11th for the opening night feature, Tanner slipped back to a 23rd place outing after drawing a caution on the second lap.

Returning on Sunday evening for another $5,000-to-win A-Main, Tanner logged a 5th place finish in his heat giving him one last shot at the feature with a B-Main appearance. Sending the Top 3 into the show, Kellick edged his way with a 3rd place finish. Starting in 23rd, Tanner Kellick gained six spots in the 40-lap affair to place 17th.
