Kellick scores fourth-place finish at Whynot in return to racing
After being away from the racetrack since March, Tanner Kellick traveled to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Miss.) on Saturday afternoon to compete with the Mississippi State Challenge Series in the Paw Paw George Memorial.
With 15 Super Late Models on deck, Kellick earned a sixth-row starting position after qualifying 11th-fastest. For the $3,000-to-win main event, Tanner tore through the field and went on a 11th-to-fourth run to finish just outside the Top-3. He trailed Evan Ellis, Brian Rickman, and Chad Trash while Jarret Stuckey rounded out the Top-5.
